Masques

Over the past two months a brainmovie unspooled through my fingers. It concerns the second generation, and the core idea was in mind a couple decades ago, but in those days you couldn't have relationships like these. Meanwhile I was looking at the consequences of having lived through a war. Though peace was declared more then ten years ago, the shadow of war is still there. Something I only realized in recent years I grew up with, having been a kid in the postwar years after WW II.

But I tried to keep it light, comedy-of-manners, no grit and drear. There's enough of that in the news. I like my happy endings.
